Faith Is The Belief That A Better Life Is Possible

Counseling for Adults, Teens, Couples, and Families

In-person in Richfield and online throughout Ohio

Every day, you’re feeling more overwhelmed.

Each morning, you wake and try to gather the strength to face the day.

And each evening, you arrive home, despaired by the total lack of confidence and joy you feel.

The cycle repeats as the frustration and lack of hope builds.

Compulsions have a hold over you.

You’ve become dependent on substances or unhealthy behavior patterns.

The source may be feelings of inadequacy or unresolved past events, but whatever the cause, you feel powerless to take control.

You just want to live a good life but the stress of life always ends up overpowering you.

Your relationship is on the brink.

Time and again, you and your partner have failed to reconcile, and you’re both at the end of your ropes.

Years of hostility have eroded the trust and compassion you once felt for each other.

Neither of you wants to give up on this, but you just can’t believe that years of failures will somehow be fixed.

It feels like your family is broken.

Things have been difficult in your relationship and the family is now struggling.

The kids have been impacted by the chaos and you’re now seeing the affect in their choices.

You wish you could just shelter them from all the pain and worry.

Adolescence is never an easy time.

It’s a period of so many significant life changes that it’s common to feel lost and confused.

Parents and teachers try to offer support, but they don’t understand what you’re going through.

You want desperately to feel like you belong, but you feel judged and not accepted.

Painful events from the past stick with you.

You’ve tried to move beyond these distressing incidents, but they still have a hold over you.

Everything feels different since then, especially you.

The worst part is that you’re not sure things will ever return to “normal.”

You’ve tried to fix these problems yourself, but change never lasts.

There have been brief periods in the past when you tried something that gave you hope, but that enthusiasm soon faded.

The new method works for a time, but soon something triggers you, and all your progress is lost.

And every failed attempt just leaves you more vulnerable and further cemented in the belief that things will never be any different.

Something has to change.

Think of the times in your life when you were filled with excitement and hope for your future.

A time when you were committed to being better and you saw that the commitment made was creating hope and confidence.

Let’s build a foundation of faith in your life so that you can recommit yourself to change and grow in the knowledge that will lead to healing.
